  1. It’s not really a diet, you have to change your way of eating forever, best decision ever made.

  2. Dont fear protein! Gluconeogenesis is demand driven, and happening to some degree, all the time. When you eat protein, the body needs insulin to use that protein, but if insulin is going up, and there is no carbs coming in, glucose is going to fall. So to prevent a too low blood sugar, the body stimulates gulcagon, which tells the liver to put out a little glucose to balance out the effect of insulin going up. Craig Emmerich explains this beautifully, listen to him debunking these “keto myths” making people afraid. Protein in the most important macro nutrient, and being in ketosis depends only on reducing the carb intake, not making the fat intake 70% or more. You can burn the fat on your plate, or the fat on your body.

No worries people you don’t have to EAT 70% sticks of butter to do keto: You can do pecans, avocado’s, bacon, ribeyes, dark meat chicken quarter with the skin, salmon, etc…. you can add olive oils, butters or coconut and oil based dressings, ranch, caesar etc…that are higher in fat, you can eat all the green salads you can handle, you can do asparagus, brocolli, cauliflower (made into mashed versions is just like having regular potato mashed) etc…. It’s a great way to eat. It’s enjoyable. You can also have cheeses and dairy just not SKIM versions. You can have heavy whipping cream in your coffee and even sweeten it with Stevia or artificial sweeteners just not sugar. You’ll probably FEEL a few day of your body changing so drink alot of water and stay up on your electrolytes. You don’t have to worry about salt on this diet either you flush etc sodium. So use pink sea salt on your food and even salt substitutes like Nu Salt that have potassium. You might want to supplement with a Magnesium too. It’s a great way to live lost 50 pounds on it since December so far. You feel great, mentally focused, alert and calm. The first week you’ll have a few ups and downs while you’re going into ketosis but if you drink alot of water and keep up on electrolytes you probably will not have anything much at all.

  4. I’m sure his boss, Oprah, doesn’t like him promoting Keto too much since her Weight Watchers stocks have plummeted.

I know that keto diet works I lost 65 pounds and 3 months and in six months my A1c went from 13 to 7 believe me it works

  10. What really bothers me is people promoting processed foods on keto. Keto is great, but you HAVE to eliminate processed foods, no matter what the package says. It’s POISON! Don’t eat it.

  11. @-Tracey – it’s the HUMAN food diet. Cavemen ate like this. Fasting is basically they were hunting all day THEN ate what they caught. So so simple.
All animals. Nuts seeds. Above ground vegs. Bit of fruit. Water. Nothing grown by farmers.

It would have been better if I learned this particular “Yamzοkο Weebly” (Google it) a few years back. I lose 12 pounds in 3 weeks so far. Obviously I work out several times a week, and also eat healthy. It showed impressive outcomes for me. Without a doubt, this plan is recommended and I do wish this would deliver the results to you too because it did to me. .

  13. Weight watchers is so much better then this bullshit Keto. Its all about the green and it makes me sick

  14. I did keto for a few months and had great results, but I don’t feel that it’s something you can sustain for life. It’s a great jumpstart into a healthier lifestyle though, that can include more moderate carb and sugar intake.

  15. I agree completely. All these keto bars and other grabage just defeats the whole purpose and that’s to get healthy.

  16. @Matthew Meyer i call BS on that. There have been studies done on athletes and they found no loss of performance on a ketogenic diet.

  17. @alfaholic3 Saint Louis University tested the anaerobic exercise performance of 16 men and women following either a low-carbohydrate ketogenic diet or a high-carbohydrate diet for four days.
People on the ketogenic diet performed more poorly at anaerobic exercise tasks than those eating more carbs…..if this study continued into months and the atheletes didnt acheive ketosis they would have massive losses. Now your source? Ill be waiting.

  18. Thank for the using the right term….’lifestyle’. I’m on it for my 3rd week and I’m AMAZED by the energy and I can see how my body is shrinking. Thank God Than God.

  19. My computer research has shown that nothing beats this diet program. Go here: HootFat.com ! You could drop weight like I did that has been 12 lbs already.

  21. 6ixVlogs at the time I was eating once a day about 1500 calories and drinking only water. My job was a slight exercise cause of the constant walking but outside of that I didn’t work out. I actually burned a few pounds in my sleep too.

  22. Larkin Huey you missed where that person said they walk 8 miles a day. As long as that persons stays active and not lazy like you they’ll be ok.

  23. Ya, I m having trouble believing her too. I’m very overweight and I did keto 2 months and lost 24 lbs. ( less than 10 carbs a day and fast 16-18 hours and 1 meal or a meal and shake a day)I lost 2 inches off my waist. Generally I’ve always found on this diet and previous ones that an inch off the waist equates to around a ten pound loss. Also, before doing keto I would bike 6-8 HOURS a day and lost zilch. I would stop for lunch and have a piece of fresh fruit, have a small dinner or none and an egg and toast for breakfast. About 2 years before keto I tried walking all day. I’d start in the morning, not even stop for lunch( just grab a protein bar ) and walk til late afternoon. I lost nothing, or only a couple pounds over 5 months of this. excercise does not work. Cutting calories does not work. Keto is the only thing that works for me. I’m sick of people judging overweight people saying they sit around , don’t excercise and eat tubs of kfc and ice cream all day. Maybe some do but not everyone. Some of us are really really trying. On a side note I went on a road trip 6 weeks into keto, I ate small meals and some carbs, and in 6 days gained 10 lbs. I was disheartened. But, back on keto I lost 15 lbs the following week. Crazy! Sometimes I think the diet just needs a shakeup now and again. I took a few days off here at Christmas, we will see what happens.

  24. I think it’s safe to say, once on keto you are locked into that lifestyle. Larkin Huey is right, you can never go back to eating carbs like before or you’ll gain it back faster than you can imagine.

  28. I`ve already been sticking with this particular “Kοnοnοz yyd” (Search on Google) for nearly 5 weeks, and have burned around ten lbs, and also three inches from the waistline. This truly can make me a lot more lively day-to-day immediately after I did shed a few of my unneeded weight. .

Gregory Michaels I’m trying to build muscle on keto.. so what should my food groups revolve around? Also since I’m active what is my uppear allowable range of carbs ? I also I should also have a bit more protein? Thank you

  31. tennislover jake

darkerthanblack I think keto is safe.. but I myself for peace of mind would be leaner an selective about it an not eat bacon, sausage , excessive butter…
I’d keep it more to eggs, salmon, beef, cocco nut oil , olive oil.. an then veggies.. to me that’s playing it smarter
