I’ve lost 70 pounds in 5 months on keto! I feel better eat better and actually save money on food and still eat great tasting things. Stopped my autoimmune problems.

  2. I learned healthy Keto which involves vegetables. This example of eating seems to just be fat and protein. Dr Berg promotes vegetables which still helps you lose weight but replenishes electrolytes and vitamins.

  3. Dr oz you really need to get off the keto diet kick….it doesn’t matter what you say the facts dont change it works the diet works but it’s not a diet it’s a lifestyle!!!!

  4. If you are REALLY interested in knowing more about diet and health, my suggestions are; Eric Berg, Ivor Cummins and Jason Fung MD.

  5. Dr Berg. He’s the go to Dr for Keto. I’m down 90lbs in 9 months and so many medical issues cured. Just my story- to each their own

  6. @Natalie Eubank So true. I’ve lost 25 lbs in three months using keto and intermittent fasting and my glucose levels are now within normal range. How can that be a bad thing? I won’t end up on insulin for the rest of my life.

  7. @Mars Nope he actually is a REAL doctor. A cardiologist trained by one of the top medical schools in the nation.

  8. @Natural Hulkster I’ve been told by my Dr to stay on it long term due to the effects it had on my joint pain and migraines, as long as you get your veggies in there and drink plenty of water it’s all good. I eat plates full of veggies each day and still remain u Dee my 20g net carbs. I am no longer on strong painkillers, my migraines have reduced and my insulin levels don’t spike like they used to, this is brilliant as I have a family history of severe insulin resistant diabetes. You’re essentially cutting out the sugar and that is a good thing.
It is sustainable long term and it’s not just for weight loss. Do you realise it was ‘created’ for epileptic children? It’s a medical diet. There to help treat medical issues

  9. @Frances Latimer Yes, I’m aware this diet was created for epileptic children. Are you epileptic? If you are doing this long term because a doctor told you to do so than how are you getting around the saturated fat, dietary cholesterol, TMAO, advanced glycation endpoints (AGEs), heterocyclic amines, excess choline and excess carnitine? Did your doctor tell you about the dangers any of these things?

  10. This diet plan is fine as long as you eat more vegetables than this diet plan and have more sea salt, some apple cider vinegar and a bit of lemon juice every day.

Absolutely agree. Keto can certainly be healthy. But the problem is so many people simply see it as an excuse to eat craploads of high fat meat. That’s not the answer. I know some vegetarians personally who follow keto successfully. But if people think eating bacon cheeseburgers without the bun and pork rinds is the way to do it, think again!

  12. WhopperCheeseDota (slap smack) you silly goober.. youre thinking of a different dr berg! Pmsl!!

  13. If you don’t want to listen to Dr berg…..fine. Then listen to Dr Jason Fung…he’s not a chiropractor, he’s a nephrologist. Both are reading off the same hymn sheet.

I actually visit here https://t.co/TA3GKHcW0c and it seemed like a good idea to try it. After i tried this diet plan, this wasn`t long before I began shedding bodyweight! My mate tried this guide and shed 10 pounds!?

@BT If he isnt the most knowledgeable…..he goes into great lengths to convey what he does know.

@WhopperCheeseDota dr bergs advice isnt crazy like this example, with this verison of keto youll Have malnurititon problems in the first month without pills. And beside the amound you of fat eaten in keto is what most people eat just the starches and grains are cut out and only high fiber low carb and low sugar veggies and berries are allowed and encouraged to an extreme

  17. No, combine it WITH EXERCISE. DR Berg strategy is for lazy people who would rather starve their bodies than get up off their asses and exercise.
